Michael Paulin is the new CEO of OVH.


OVH, a cloud hosting company based in France has named Michael Paulin as their new CEO. The founder of the company is Octave Klaba, who will keep being the Chairman of the Board.  Before taking on this new role, Paulin was working at SFR, one of France’s most well known telecom companies. He also took part in the IPO of Neuf Cegetel, and was involved with the merger with SFR. 
Paulin’s past work experience might be in a different field, but his years of knowledge will be sure to prove useful in his new role at OVH. 

At the moment, OVH wants to become one of the leading cloud offerings, set to rival Amazon, Microsoft, Alibaba, and Google. Their main focus is attracting new clients, which might prove hard considering the power of the competition. 
The company is planning to invest a big amount on hiring, gathering more data centers, and launching more features. A the moment they have 2,500 employees and generated revenue of 420 million Euros in 2017, a reasonably impressive feat. 

The new team and Michael Paulin are sure to keep OVH’s growth going, especially now that they received a 400 million Euro line of credit. This is the perfect opportunity to keep expanding and take the company to new heights.
